Laminate flooring is quickly becoming the hottest trend in flooring today. Wood flooring and tile will always be steady choices, but because of the availability, affordability, and durability of laminate flooring, homeowners everywhere are choosing to remodel with this material. Laminate flooring comes in a wide variety of colors and grain patterns, and because it is made of super hard plastic it can withstand many hard knocks. This is a great choice if you have young children or for high traffic areas like entryways and kitchens.

Wood floor installation is a meticulous, precise work, but the benefits afterwards are certainly worth the labor. This type of flooring already hides flaws in the wood with small bevels that make blemishes invisible; plus they are already finished. Once you?ve decided on the type of wood you desire, and have made all the many preparations beforehand, installing hardwood floors becomes much simpler knowing that in the end you will have a rich, beautiful surface to your house. For a beautiful floor, you can't beat installing wood pre finished flooring. In general, a hardwood floor is more durable and more resistant to damage from the wear and tear that comes with daily use. However, if you maintain your softwood floor carefully, it should last just as long as a hardwood floor.

I am so happy with the job you did in my home that I wanted to write and let you know. As you recall I had about 800 square feet of hard wood flooring refinished. My floors look better than they ever have in 16 years and the house was brand new back then!
